Hi Guys, my names Kean im 26 an engineer living in england. i do karate, like clubbing, travelling, films, computers, gym, reading, music (went to glastonbury this year). I started getting floaters in march this year. I also started getting headaches and sinus/ear pressure (still have got them and waiting on ENT appointment). I see my floaters most of the time. But worse when outside. Theyre sort of clumps of circles making up lines and squiggles, also when very bright i see big clouds of circles taking up most of vision these seem to be in the background with the strands on top of them and they float around when you try and look at them. Optimetrist says retinas are healthy and i have a slight stigmatism and i should get used to them. But at the moment they're really depressing me. i just dont understand why im seeing them and noone else, my doc says he has one in his left eye, but i have literally hundreds of them with 20 or so massive ones. i did used to dabble in ecstasy (stopped now) im worried that this damaged my eyes...but who knows anyway its good to know im not the only one..although i hope you'res arnt as bad as mine....hopefully we'll all beat them hey? thanks guys
kean
ps its not stopping me doing anything, i refuse to, its just hindering my enjoyment sometimes do you know what i mean?

I like your attitude. Don't let floaters stop what you enjoy doing. I understand too, it does hinder the enjoyment of life.
We'll beat it!
