I’ve had floaters in the past that have drifted thru my field of vision. But now I have one, which I only see in bright light or against a white background, that is always in the same spot. I always thought floaters “floated” past so I am worried it’s a tumor or something scary of course. If I look left, it goes with me. If I look right, it goes with me.
Does anyone have a floater that stays put pretty much? In normal light/indoors/etc I don’t see it. And sometimes it goes away under it’s normal circumstances. Or if I close the opposite eye it goes away.
Does this sound like a floater or something else?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Trixie,
That sounds like a floater to me. Perhaps it formed in a very small liquefied pocket of your vitreous and doesn't have a wide range of motion.

Thank you thank you, Larry. I appreciate your opinion on it.

Another thing occurred to me Trixie; you may have the suspended type of floater. That kind of floater has a thread(s) suspending it in place.
