I wonder if ultra sonics could be applied to homogenize floaters or perhaps to move them aside out of the vision path by agitating the surrounding vitreous material?
A low power application would need to be developed to insure that the retina would not be damaged.
High power ultra sonics is used to homogenize industrial liquid products and of course to clean metal, such as jewelry.
