Hello, Just writing to say that someone has started another eye-floaters website It seems like it will be continually updated in the future. www.geocities.com/eye_floatersThe creator of the site tells me that later it will have a Dutch and possibly a German version of the website. Though the contact e-mail for www.geocities.com/eye_floaters is eyefic@hotmail.com the site is not built or maintained by me although I have access to the inbox as well (long story). Check it out

Interesting, the "Discussion Board" link goes to this discussion board. Guess this board is getting more attention.
I was wondering about this line in the "Research" link: "Laser Treatment tries to push the floaters out of the line of sight or tries to destroy the floaters." I've never heard that a laser can push a floater. Perhaps the statement is in error, but I'd like to know more if it really is possible.

Hi Larry. The main goal of laser treatment is to cut the strands with what the floaters are attached to the eye. By cutting these strands, the floaters fall to the bottom of the eye out of the line of sight. Interesting, the "Discussion Board" link goes to this discussion board. Guess this board is getting more attention. I linked to this discusion board directly because I felt a new discussion board wouldnt be of any value. Im also trying to attract more visitors to Eyefic by making a Dutch and German version of my website.
btw Yen, you got 210 visitors yesterday at eyefic. Our project seems to be paying off.

Hello Scienceman,
Thanks for clarifying that; I was envisioning the laser pushing the floater aside, which would be great if it were actually possible.
210 visitors in one day is amazing! Astounding how many people have floaters and are looking for answers.
