I passed my bike test a few months ago and got a bike a couple of weeks before noticing my floaters. I haven't much wanted to ride it since, being generally a bit down and "can't be bothered".
I've found new enthusiasm since though, when I go for a blast, within 5 minutes I've got that many flies stuck to my visor that I don't notice my floaters at all!
Good stuff...

Hehe good on your Adrian! It's always good to get out and do the things you love. I like riding too (but on a bicycle). I like going really long distances, and as long as I am moving the floaters dont bother me as much. Of course i wear the sunnies and most new helmets today have this little neat visor

I know the feeling. One of my hobbies is cars. Well to be honest ... one brand called Alfa Romeo. When "speeding" you won't see any floaters because you're too concetraded. Other disadvantage ... those d**n speeding tickets

I know what you mean. I had a bit of a race with a tremendously nice looking girl in a mazda rx8 whilst travelling home on my bike today. We were going quite fast (not wreckless) but I was concentrating a lot on the road, constantly looking about etc. Naturally I won (bikes a little handier for overtaking etc. . Completely forgot about the floats, and didn't see any until I turned off down my road, I looked down at my speedo and when my eyes returned to the forward position, I saw my biggest knot like floater drift straight into my line of sight, how annoying, still, it was a fun ride home.
