See the doctors respons below:
Dear Eye Floaters Information Centre,
Thank you for your letter. I face similar questions quite often and I am surprised reading your words that the medical world does not take this problem seriously. I know very well how floaters can disturb my patients and how much they profit from vitrectomy, especially from that performed with the sutureless 25gauge technique, on an out-patient basis, during half an hour, with no complications. I am quite sure that floaters that disqualify patients from any activity such as reading, driving or working with PC, deserve removal. I like to perform this operations and my patients are very happy after the surgery.

It reminds me of a post I recently read on some other board. If people can get borst implants, nose jobs, knee jobs, eye liftings, face liftings, lipsuctions, skin beuaty treatments, face peelings, girl thingy reconstructions!!!, muscle implants, lip enlargemenst, eye brow corrections, rimple removements, ....... why the hell don't we deserve a cure then!!!I'll trade my floaters for any of these body imperfections...:-)

woehhaha this board is censured!!! The word v a g i n a is replaced by "girly thingy" ( never heard of that one before)....Never thought that v_a_g i n a was a vulgar word...lol. Are americans becoming so conservative now that even naming the sexual organs is prohibited? ? :-) Grtz HAns
