WHen you have severe complaints of floaters, but the doctor cannot detect any severe floaters, your floaters are probably in the Bursa Permacularis. This sometimes happens in young patients. This is a structure in front of the macula. Those floaters are very small and cannot be seen by the doctor. When a FOV is performed, the Bursa Permacularis must be removed also in this case.

Dr Tassignon told me this. Seems to be a very good doctor.
there is 1 good thing about the floaters in the Bursa Permacularis.... After PVD u wont notice them anymore because they are very small, but appear big because they are close to the retina.
