The new "filmy" effect photo is very well created! I am now confirmed that it is not something imaginary. I have realised that my sight has somewhat became "filmy" but I can't really know how to describe them, it doesn't seem to affect acuity. It is even more profound at night in a white fluorescent-lit room. All the while I have problem describing it and even thought that I am imagining it.
My previous idiot eye doctor just say that it is not possibly caused by floaters. "floaters don't cause this kind of blurriness". "I have checked, you don't have cataract". "oh! starbursting! it is caused by the floaters hitting your retina!" IDIOT!

One more important fact to add.
Now that I have confirmed that I am not imagining this "filmy" effect. I can tell for sure that I saw this effect well before I see those physical floaters. In other words, the filmy effect came 1-2 years before all the big physical floaters appeared.
